Making Memories Gift Drive

What is making memories drive?
Our Making Memories Drive is an experience gift drive, where we collect tickets, gift certificates, or vouchers to experiences around the OC for our PSS families.

What is an experience gift?
Here are some examples of an experience gift: museum, movie tickets, local attractions, zoos, aquariums, bowling, rock climbing, escape rooms, roller skating, pottery painting, indoor play spaces, trampoline park, laser tag, etc!

Are my donations tax-deductible?

Yes! We are a 501(c)(3) charity organization. Our tax ID is 33-0597719. Your in-kind donation is tax-deductible at fair market value. Once your donation is received, upon request, we can give you a receipt for your in-kind contribution.

Is there a donation minimum or maximum?
No. However, we ask that the experience gift is enough to cover admission for at least 2 people (one for the child and one for the parent).

Why gift an experience?
Research has shown that experiences contribute more to happiness than material items. Experiences also allow families to bond, which is correlated to fewer behavioral problems in children, a stronger sense of identity, and higher rates of academic success. Lastly, it is an eco-friendly alternative!

Help our PSS scholars and their children share a special Christmas memory. Donate experience gifts such as tickets or gift cards to the movies, local attractions, indoor playspace, ice skating, etc.!

There are multiple ways to give:
